1. Services Provided
Hunters Service Pros offers professional remodeling and related property services for residential and commercial properties in North Haven, CT, and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to:

Junk removal, cleaning, and landscaping
All services are subject to a mutually agreed-upon scope of work, detailed in a written contract or estimate provided before work begins. We reserve the right to decline or modify services based on feasibility, safety, or resource availability.
2. Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful project completion, Clients agree to:
Provide accurate information about the project scope, property conditions, and any relevant permits or restrictions.
Ensure safe and unobstructed access to the work site, including clearing areas for junk removal, remodeling, or landscaping.
Obtain necessary permits or approvals required by local North Haven, CT, regulations, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Communicate promptly regarding any concerns or changes to the project scope.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in project delays, additional costs, or termination of services at our discretion.
3. Payment Terms
Estimates and Quotes: All projects begin with a detailed estimate or quote, subject to change based on unforeseen conditions (e.g., structural issues discovered during remodeling). Any changes will be communicated and approved in writing.
Payment Schedule: Payments are due as outlined in the project contract, typically including a deposit (e.g., 30% of total cost) before work begins and progress payments based on milestones. Final payment is due upon project completion.
Late Payments: Late payments may incur a fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance, and we reserve the right to pause work until payment is received.
Accepted Methods: We accept payments via check, credit card, or bank transfer, as specified in the contract.
4. Project Scope and Changes
The scope of work, timeline, and costs are outlined in the project contract or estimate. Changes to the scope (e.g., additional kitchen features, deck design alterations) must be requested in writing and may incur additional costs or timeline adjustments. Hunters Service Pros will provide a revised estimate for approval before proceeding with changes. We are not responsible for delays caused by Client requests, unforeseen site conditions, or external factors (e.g., weather, supply chain issues).
5. Licensing and Insurance
Hunters Service Pros is fully licensed and insured in accordance with Connecticut state regulations. We carry general liability insurance and/or workers’ compensation to protect Clients and our team during projects. Clients are responsible for maintaining their own property insurance to cover personal belongings or structures not included in our scope of work.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
We provide a limited warranty on workmanship for a period specified in the project contract (typically one year from completion), covering defects due to improper installation or materials provided by us. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, natural wear, or Client modifications. Materials supplied by third parties (e.g., windows, decking materials) are subject to manufacturer warranties, which we will facilitate as needed. All warranty claims must be submitted in writing to Hunters Service Pros.
7. Liability and Risk
Hunters Service Pros is not liable for:
Damage to property caused by pre-existing conditions (e.g., structural weaknesses) not disclosed by the Client.
Delays or costs arising from unforeseen circumstances (e.g., hidden plumbing issues during bathroom renovations).
Injuries or damages resulting from Client negligence, such as failure to secure the work site.
Clients assume responsibility for securing valuables and ensuring the work site is safe and accessible. We take reasonable care to protect your property during projects but are not liable for incidental damage beyond our control.
8. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the project contract with written notice under the following conditions:
By Client: If Hunters Service Pros fails to meet contractual obligations, subject to a 7-day cure period after written notice.
By Hunters Service Pros: If the Client fails to make payments, provide access, or comply with these Terms, subject to a 7-day notice period.
Termination may result in costs for work completed, materials ordered, or restocking fees, as outlined in the contract.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be addressed through mediation in North Haven, CT, before pursuing legal action. Both parties agree to cover their own legal fees unless otherwise determined by a court in Connecticut.
10. Privacy and Data
We collect Client information (e.g., name, address, contact details) solely to provide services and communicate project updates. We do not share or sell personal data except as required by law or with your consent. For more details, see our Privacy Policy on our website.
11. Force Majeure
Hunters Service Pros is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or government regulations. We will notify Clients promptly and work to mitigate impacts on project timelines.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any legal proceedings will take place in New Haven County, CT.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
